Characteristics
Each section of the gorge, through which a stream flows, has a few small waterfalls, and in more challenging sections, climbing facilities such as steps and steel cables have been installed in place of the original wooden ladders.
Arrival
Arrival by car, train or bus to the Zbojská hut behind the village of Pohronská Polhora.
Boarding
From the parking lot towards the observation tower that you can see from the path. Then follow the green marked nature trail. The educational trail takes you to the entrance of the gorge, where you can see the via ferrata facilities and start climbing.
Exit
The via ferrata goes through the entire gorge, and at the end you climb out of it and follow the marked path through meadows around the Zbojská hut back to your car.
Interesting facts
It is particularly interesting in spring or winter when the water is partially frozen and the entire gorge appears in a beautiful scenery. Of course, in summer the gorge has a completely different appearance due to the lack of ice.
