Characteristics

The Avventura via ferrata opened in July 2021 at the Speikboden Resort. The Avventura via ferrata is a type of “adventure via ferrata”. Numerous elements were installed such as a three-flight rope bridge, a Burma bridge, various ladders and, finally, an exposed inclined ladder. The end point of the via ferrata is the summit cross of the Kleiner Nock, from where you have a wonderful view of the Ahrntal.

Arrival

On the SS49 to Bruneck and then on the SS621 to Tauferer Ahrntal. The valley station of the Speikboden cable car is 2 km behind Campo Tures.

Boarding

From the mountain station we go down a bit and follow path no. 19 (forest path/slope). After about 10 minutes we turn left onto a path that shortly leads us to the start of the via ferrata.

Exit

From the summit of Kleiner Nock along the ridge towards Großer Nock and then turn left onto path 18A back to the mountain station.

Interesting facts

In combination with the Speikboden via ferrata (C) you have fun all day long. As you descend from the Via Ferrata Avventura you will pass the "Pirate Children's Via Ferrata", which is worth a look (cannons, anchors, steering wheel, climbing net).
