Characteristics

Two short but very popular via ferratas through small caves - good for a combination of via ferrata and hiking. The Ternitzersteig begins in staggered arcs and leads over historically interesting lakes. The Flatzer Loch (information on this via ferrata) is a relaxed hike.

Arrival

Motorway S6 to the Neunkirchen exit, then via Mahrersdorf to Flatz. Park at the Mostheurigen Waldbauer.

Boarding

From the Waldbauer-Gasthof in the direction “up” to a crossroads. Follow the red marked Fürststeig. Follow the path to the Schiebboegenu, where the Ternitzersteig (blue) branches off to the left and the Fürststeig (continues on red) begins.

Exit

The best way is to climb up. Walk to the marked Jubilaeumssteig (A/B), which leads you down, and continue to the parking lot.
