Interesting facts

The Sorapis group is a huge mountain range that looks somewhat awkward when viewed from Cortina and opens to Lake Misurina with glacial remnants to the north. Thanks to Rifugio Vandelli and two bivouac boxes, it is possible to go around the central Sorapis via via ferratas such as Alfonso Vandelli, Sentiero Carlo Minazio and Ferrata Francesco Berti. It is one of the longest circular routes in the Dolomites.
