Characteristics
Franzl Klettersteig is a difficult via ferrata, which was build next to its older "sister" Kupfergeist-Klettersteig. Both of these ferratas are challenging, exposed and contain walls where strenght and experience are required. Both ferratas are close to the parking lot so you can climb them both in one day.
Arrival
Salzburg - Bischofshofen - Großarl - Hüttschlag - park above the tunnel on the right.
Approach
From the parking lot along the creek to the bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the marked path to the start of the ferrata.
Exit
To the left along the forest path down.
