Ferrata Ghiacciaio del Calderone, the opposite variant of the Vetta Orientale ferrata. It leads to the glacier above the Carlo Franchetti hut.
Arrival
Prati di Tivo, pasture in the Valico del Laghetto saddle 1650m or from the other side of the parking lot at Campo Imperiale 2130m.
Onset
From the top of Vetta Orientale 2903 m you descend about 250 m to a well-marked start with a sign. BE CAREFUL not to confuse it with the side marked unsecured climbing route of difficulty I-II UIAA, which is a few meters earlier.
