Characteristics
One of the oldest via ferratas in Germany - over 100 years old. A perfect experience for easy rock climbing. Experienced climbers may not even need a via ferrata kit, but you should definitely wear a helmet.
Arrival
Go to Oberstdorf to the Fellhornbahn cable car.
Boarding
From the cable station in the direction of Birgsau and Waltenberger Haus.
Exit
Follow path 439 towards Rappenseehuette and continue to the parking lot at the cable car. You can also walk from the Austrian side in Holzgau along path 438.
