A short via ferrata Hoher Stein Steig, which you can combine with walk, or other ferratas in the area.

Arrival

Krems via Donaubrücke to Mautern - Nesselstauden and Mitterarnsdorf - park by the bridge (Kastelkreuz).

Approach

From the car park to Mitterarnsdorf, turn left on the trail no.653. You have to cross the entire forest and the highest point in the area, then down again. Then there should be a big stone in your sight where the ferrata starts.

Exit

Same as approach.
