Characteristics

Three short via ferratas in the hiking paradise around the Hochjoch. If you are fit, you can climb them in front of the Hochjoch via ferrata to warm up. Those who like to hike with the family and want to do a short via ferrata are in good hands with the ferratas above the two lakes.

Arrival

From the A14 motorway, take the Bludenz-Montafon exit and continue to Schruns. Follow the signs to the valley station of the Hochjochbahn in Schruns.

Public transport: by train to Schruns and from there to the valley station of the Hochjochbahn.

Approach

From the mountain station of the Sennigrat chairlift briefly to the north, then down the ski slope in an easterly direction. At the turning station of the Sennigrat chairlift, continue left down to the lake (with a small hut). Shortly before the lake (at the stream) to the right and on the left side of the block heap up to the entrance at a board at 2160 m.

Exit

From the exit on the meadow continue up to the "summit". Then go flat on the back to the ski slope. Continue on the slope to the already visible Wormser hut. From the hut on the scenic cross route (great panorama into the valley!) back to the mountain station of the Sennigrat chairlift.

Alternatively, you can also descend on the A via ferrata to the approach path or to the Kälbersee.

Interesting facts

The via ferrata is not recommended if it is wet.

Too short for an independent via ferrata tour. But if you go hiking with the family, you can nicely integrate this ferrata into the hike.
