A simple via ferrata for entertainment.

Arrival

From the motorway to Innsbruck, exit onto Zillertalstrasse and drive to the town of Mayerhofen. After the roundabout, turn right over the bridge and then stop in the small parking lot next to the mini golf course near the Zillertal Inn. If it is full, you can use the paid parking lot, which is specifically intended for visitors to the via ferrata.

Boarding

Walk along the path next to the Zillertal inn through the forest for a few minutes, then take one of the four via ferrata routes with difficulty A/B - D/E to the Zimmereben inn.

Exit

First down with a slide to the start of the via ferrata, then along a descent path from the inn that leads to the parking lot. Out of season it is possible to climb down one of the easier via ferratas, the start of which is just behind the descent path.
