Characteristics

A short secured path without artificial steps. Suitable to connect with another via ferrata in this area with the via ferrata Larix.

Arrival

From Bolzano or Schlanders you turn into the Senales valley and pass the Vernagtstausee to the junction "Marchegghof". A short, narrow asphalt road leads directly to the parking lot. 

Onset

From the parking lot, follow the signs to the foot of the rock wall, where the via ferrata begins on the left side of the wall.

Descent

Up a small rock step, then down a wide bend to the right onto a hiking trail that leads back to the Marchegghof.
