A short and easy via ferrata, suitable for older children and beginners.

Arrival

From Alland via Mayerling, Maria Raisenmarkt - Holzschlag - free parking on the left side of the inn.

Approach

Continue walking along the road around the Gasthof am Holzschlag and to the left to the red marked trail (the one more to the left, the narrow road) and then towards the rocks, keep to the left. There will be one more way down - do not go there.

Exit

From the top follow the yellow marked trail down to the Pelsteinhaus (snacks), which includes a children's area with a children's boulder wall and a reminder of the history of climbing climbing on Pelstein. From there follow the red marked trail back to the parking lot.
