Characteristics

The New Vía Ferrata de la Pita or 100 Caños is located in Villanueva del Trabuco in the province of Málaga: They consist of 5 very different and independent sections with different difficulties so that you can live your Adventures to the fullest.

Perhaps you know the old Via Ferrata de la Pita with its two explosive overhangs not suitable for every climber.

Arrival

Starting from Villanueva del Trabuco we will take Camino Borreguero street in the direction of the ferrata and in about 3 km we will pass in front of the information panel. If we continue a few meters to our right we will see a large open field where we can leave the car.

Approach

From the parking lot we will see the wall through which the ferrata runs and we will ascend towards it along the path.

Descent

- Continue for Tramo 1 Part 2

- Way down: The return becomes obvious, you have to descend along the rock, carefully climbing the slope and with some climbing.

Points of interest

DON'T UNDERESTIMATE!!! Officialy it was rated as K4+ but for sure its way more!

Because of this directly at the Start of the first section there is a modificated plate which shows the Level of K5+! No Escape during the ferrata.
