Characteristics

An unconventional via ferrata secured with chains in a climbing area above Handlová in the Veľký Grič rock massif. Relatively simple but nice and airy with great views. The via ferrata ends at the summit of Veľký Grič.

Arrival

By car from Handlová towards the landfill above the town.

Boarding

From the car, follow the blue markings on the trees and then follow the white markings with the text "reťaze" (chains) under the rock.

Exit

Various options, but probably the easiest is to take the red trail towards Handlová and then turn off the marked trail at the garbage dump and drive to the parked car.

Interesting facts

Attention, it happened to me that Google navigation took me along forest paths and not on paved roads, which are not passable for a car with a low chassis.
