Characteristics

A beautiful Romanian via ferrata Casa Zmeului in the beautiful Apuseni Mountains.
The ferrata is relatively new, built in 2017 by a member of the Romanian Mountain Rescue Service - Salvamont Salvaspeo. Ferrata is not difficult and there is one 25m long Nepalese bridge.

Arrival

Defect Crisului - parked there.

Approach

From the parking lot, follow the path towards the forests. When you see the Pestera Casa Zmeului sign, you follow it to the left to get on. (If you continue further, you will reach the next ferrata Vada Crisului (B).)

Exit

Follow the blue trail to the left back to the village. (or you can take the blue trail to the right to reach the Dragon's Cave, then come back again)
