Characteristics
The Paklarska Stijene - Devečani ferrata is very interesting and can be visited by both medium and more experienced mountaineers. The ferrata passage is situated in the lowest part of the mountain, and with a system of horizontal and short ledges and vertical slabs it leads along the main ridge all the way to the top of Paklarske / Devečanske stijena. The ferrata is not technically feasible or necessary to turn the crawl space on the grass ledges, because in case of slippery and wet terrain the crossing may be difficult.
Arrival
From the right side of Travnik, use the old asphalt road through Galić/Vlašić and park 9km to the right. Here you will find an info board in the ferry branch and here begins the mountaineering staza which leads to the ferrata start.
Approach
The ferrata access road is not well marked and one part of it passes through mine-suspicious terrain, but it is inevitable to be on guard. The grass is rusty on some parts.
Descent
The return from the ferrata is from the Jusuf Pečenković mountaineering home in Devećanima, along the marked mountaineering track to the home of Grof Erik Brandis in Galica, and then along the asphalt serpentine track to the numerous paws.
