Characteristics

A simple short ferrata. Although not explicitly as a “sporty” ferrata as we are used to. Instead of a steel cable there are chains. But beautiful elements are used and there are beautiful views from the summit. The Ferrata can be walked in both directions, which means you go down the same way as you go up.

Arrival

Behind the village of Lehota pod Vtáčnikom you drive towards Sekaniny. Park in the parking lot at the ski lift and immediately from the parking lot you will see a sign directing you to the Ferrata.

Boarding

The approach to the Ferrata is well signposted. From the parking lot, follow the cairns to the marker sign on the tree. On the left is the climbing arena, on the right is the Ferrata. Then just follow the markings on the trees and you will soon be at the Ferrata.

Exit

Just like the approach.
